Students participated in activities to help them understand tolerance. Older students were encouraged during the day to apply tolerance in their everyday school life. Teachers and administrators wore white and students wore red ribbons in support. 1-3rd graders were greeted at each classroom by teachers. They could choose fist bump, a hug, or to dance with the teacher as they entered the room. All activities were built around our differences and acceptance of others in love.
