Current Leadership
General Director: Botrus Mansour
Born in 1965, Botrus Mansour received his school studies in Oxford, England as well as at NBS, from which he graduated in 1983. Mr. Mansour then went on to achieve his law degree from Hebrew University in Jerusalem and passed the Bar for practicing law in Israel in 1993. He also holds a MBA from Haifa University and has worked as a lawyer in Nazareth for many years. He is a co-founder of the Local Baptist Church-Nazareth (the largest Evangelical church in Israel) and serves as an elder in it. Mr. Mansour is also a founding member of Nazareth Village and served on its board for several years.
Mr. Mansour also co-founded the Israel Education Forum that brings together Messianic and Evangelical educational organizations in Israel and serves as a member of its board and its international arm which is registered in the UK. He serves as Member of the advisory committee for the leading Arabic Evangelical web-site in Israel, as a co-founder and co-editor of the leading English Evangelical web-site, is a member of the advisory board for Musalaha (a reconciliation ministry), and is a member of the Global Council for a network of lawyers, judges and national leaders from all around the world called Advocates International – which emphasizes issues revolving around religious liberty, reconciliation and ethics.
Mr. Mansour joined the staff of NBS in 2003 as a part-time assistant to the General Director, and then as General Director as of 2004. He is a graduate of NBS, and his 3 children are students in it. His wife, A’bir, is an educational counselor in NBS.
Dr. Ousama Moalem: Principal
Dr. Moalem began his role as Principal of the Nazareth Baptist School in 1998. He holds a Doctorate in Medical Physics and worked in that field for several years before coming to NBS. In addition to his administrative work, he teaches physics at NBS. He received the “Teacher of the Year” certificate from the President of Israel in 2005. He also taught physics at Mar Elias University in Ibillin. Dr. Moalem has 3 children, all of whom study at NBS. He is married to Rawya, a Medical Doctor who specializes in Internal Medicine - especially liver and gustology.

Nazareth Baptist School has a board with 7 Directors:
Mr. Fuad Haddad, Chairman. (See above). Serves as a member of the council for the Evangelical Convention in Israel. Has also served in the past as Chairman of the Association of Baptist Churches in Israel, and on the board of the Nazareth YMCA.
Mr. Najed Azzam. (B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from Tel-Aviv University and an MBA from Derby University.) Currently working as Executive Vice-President of the Broadband Business Unit at Galtronics Ltd. in Tiberias. He serves as a Deacon in the Local Baptist Church-Nazareth, and served as a board member of Nazareth Village. Mr. Azzam is also a Graduate of NBS and has served on the NBS board since October 2003.
Mrs. Randa Elias. (B.A. in Nursing from Hebrew University in Jerusalem and a Masters in Health Administration from Haifa University.) Director of Nursing and an Executive Board Member of Nazareth Hospital. Serves as the Chairman of the Board of the Nursing School at Nazareth Hospital, as well as Coordinator for the Women’s Ministry at the Local Baptist Church in Nazareth. She has served on the NBS board since October 2003.
Dr. Yohanna Katanacho. (B.A. from Bethlehem University in Chemistry; M.A. in Theology and Divinity from Wheaton and Trinity Evangelical University; Ph.D. from Trinity Evangelical University.) Bible Professor and author. Serves as the Academic Dean of both Bethlehem Bible College and Galilee Bible College.
Mr. Ehab Elimi. (B.A. in Economics and Accountancy from Tel-Aviv University, nominated for MBA at Rishon Litzion College.) Chartered Public Accountant, NBS graduate and parent. Has served on the board since March 2004.
Rev. Dr. Dale Thorne. (B.Sc. in Education from Oklahoma Baptist university, Masters in Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological seminary, PhD in Ministry from Southern Baptist Theological seminary.) Ordained as a pastor and served in different pastoral roles in Israel and America. Served as NBS General Director from 1967-1983, as well as different capacities in the International Mission Board, including Area Director for the Middle East & North Africa Area. Serves today as Director of the Jerusalem Prayer Center in Jerusalem.
Mr. Aziz Daeem. (B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Chemistry from Hebrew University in Jerusalem) Principal of St. John's Anglican School in Haifa. Serves as Chairman of the Evangelical Convention in Israel.
Control Committee:
Ehab Sayeg. (B.Sc. in Computer Science from the Open University in Haifa.) Leads the Sales Department of NAZDAQ and is responsible for customer support. He is an NBS graduate and parent, serves on the Child Evangelism Fellowship Board and on the council of the Local Baptist Church –Nazareth.
Issa Saba. (B.A. in English from Mississippi Baptist University.) Deacon in the Local Baptist church-Nazareth and has been teaching English at Tura’an High School for over 30 years.

Ranya Sayeg. (Computer Science Degree from Bar-Elan University in Tel-Aviv (2004) and an MBA from Derby University.) She is an NBS graduate and the founder and Director of the House of Prayer and Exploits (Hope).
Munther Naum. (B.Sc. in Food Engineering from the Technion, Haifa) Works as a Senior Food Engineer at Unilever. Serves as an elder at Shefamer Baptist Church. Co-founded the Evangelical Convention in Israel and served as its first Chairman. Serves as Chairman of the Association of Baptist Churches in Israel.
